The Challenge

When Solomon & Company (St Helena) PLC were faced with the task of renewing their Butchery floor, there were several challenges to consider. They needed a system that was easy to apply, as their location meant that the application would be completed in-house using their own staff, and a concrete floor finish that would provide a durable, hygienic and aesthetically pleasing solution.

The Solution

Following detailed discussions with Solomon & Company (St Helena) PLC to fully understand their issues and requirements, we recommended the use of Resbuild SL Screed with a decorative flake broadcast, sealed using Resbuild Clear Coat, to create a hygienic and durable epoxy concrete floor covering. Following delivery of the materials, we provided careful instructions and a step-by-step guide to the installation. Solomon & Company (St Helena) PLC successfully completed the works and achieved a first-class concrete floor finish that met both hygiene and aesthetic requirements. They have since successfully applied Resbuild SF Coating to the floor of a supermarket on the island.
