Resbuild Polyester Mortar
Product Documentation
Description
Resbuild Polyester Mortar is a versatile, high-strength repair and bonding material developed for a wide range of applications across construction and civil engineering projects. Designed as a two-component system, it offers rapid curing and flexible application, making it suitable for both repair and installation work where reliability and efficiency are essential.
Unlike more rigid repair materials, this polyester-based mortar can be adjusted in consistency during mixing, allowing it to be poured, trowelled or shaped depending on the requirements of the application. This flexibility makes it particularly effective for tasks such as bedding, jointing and profiling, as well as carrying out repairs to both in-situ and pre-cast concrete elements.
The material develops high early strength, achieving a hard cure in approximately one hour at 20°C, enabling rapid progression of works and early return to service. Its strong adhesion to concrete, masonry and brickwork, combined with negligible shrinkage, ensures a secure and stable bond even in demanding environments.
Resbuild Polyester Mortar also delivers excellent mechanical performance, including high compressive, tensile and flexural strength, alongside very good resistance to chemicals and abrasion. These properties make it well suited to both structural and non-structural repairs where long-term durability is required.
Typical applications include repairing damaged concrete, fixing and bedding components such as kerbs, slabs and manhole units, and carrying out detailed profiling work where precision and strength are critical. The material can be applied in layers to build up thickness, allowing for controlled placement in more complex repair scenarios.
With its combination of rapid curing, adaptable consistency and high strength performance, Resbuild Polyester Mortar provides a dependable solution for repair, bonding and installation tasks across a wide range of construction environments.
