Resbuild Floorseal
Product Documentation
Description
Resbuild Floorseal is a two-pack, solvented epoxy resin floor sealer designed to penetrate deeply into the pore structure of concrete and masonry substrates. Acting as a key component within concrete floor coatings, it creates a sealed, surface-hardened and dust-proof finish while significantly improving resistance to chemicals and surface wear.
Unlike surface coatings that sit on top of the substrate, Floorseal works by absorbing into the concrete, typically penetrating several millimetres below the surface to consolidate friable or weak areas. This process strengthens the substrate internally while reducing dusting and limiting the ingress of water, oils and contaminants.
The cured finish provides a durable, easy-to-clean surface with enhanced abrasion resistance, making it particularly suitable for industrial environments such as factories, garages, workshops and external slabs exposed to traffic and weathering. Its ability to improve surface integrity makes it an effective preparatory or standalone solution within broader concrete floor coating systems.
Resbuild Floorseal is supplied in a convenient 1:1 mix ratio, allowing for straightforward on-site preparation and application. The material can be applied by brush or squeegee, with coverage dependent on the porosity of the substrate. Multiple coats may be applied where required to achieve full saturation and optimal performance, particularly on more absorbent surfaces.
With its deep penetration, dust-proofing capability and ability to enhance both durability and chemical resistance, Resbuild Floorseal provides a reliable solution within concrete floor coatings where long-term surface protection and substrate consolidation are required.
