Resin Floor Covering for Orkney Production Facility
The Challenge
When a water testing facility in Flotta, in the Orkney Islands, needed their production floor renovating it was no surprise that they had to look to the mainland for labour and materials. Due to their location, every aspect of the project became critical; preparation requirements through to material specification had to be right to avoid costly delays.
The Solution
In consultation with their contractor of choice, Resin Building Products Limited supplied a system consisting of Resbuild WB Primer and Resbuild Ultracoat, incorporating an emery aggregate to impart toughness and slip resistance. The system created a durable resin floor covering suitable for the demanding conditions within the production environment. The project was completed as planned and on time, leaving the client with a high-quality finish that provided a clean working environment with excellent chemical and slip resistance — exactly as requested during the initial consultations.
